Great boxset
This is a brilliant boxset for fans of Hammer films. The transfers on all four films are brilliant, the booklets are great, the whole presentation of the boxset is brilliant. 1. Cash On Demand This is the stand out for me. I love a good heist movie and this is definitely a good heist movie, adapting A Christmas Carol to a 1960s setting works incredibly well. Peter Cushing and Andre Morell are brilliantly paired together and bounce dialog off of each other beatifully. 2. The Snorkel The Snorkel is much better than the title suggests, a great mystery thriller with fairly good acting and some great twists. 3. Never Take Sweets From A Stranger This is a incredibly confronting film, I felt quite uneasy after watching it. It is way ahead of it's time and incredibly relevant to today, well acted and well written. 4. The Full Treatment My least favourite of the four. Not a terrible film just not a brilliant one either, I can't really say much about this film except that it's an average Pysch-Thriller of the time. Overall I highly recommend this boxset, Two really good films, One unsettling film and one very average film, all exceptionally presented.
