Debuting on the Disney+ streaming service in 2021, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier picks up six months after the events of the critically acclaimed blockbuster Avengers: Endgame (2019) and follows the eponymous Sam Wilson/the Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan).

With the retirement of Captain America (Chris Evans) leaving the world short of one Avenger, the iconic shield now belongs to the Falcon, in recognition of his heroism. However, owning the shield and wielding it are two entirely different things.

Teaming up with the Winter Soldier, who is adapting to life outside of Hydra’s mind control, this motley duo will embark on a global adventure — an adventure that will test both their extraordinary abilities and waning patience.

Over the course of six episodes, the two heroes are put on a collision path with a wide cast of characters: John Walker/Captain America (Wyatt Russell), Karli Morgenthau (Erin Kellyman), Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez), Georges Batroc (Georges St-Pierre), Adepero Oduye (Sarah Wilson), James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes (Don Cheadle), Helmut Zemo (Daniel Brühl), and Sharon Carter/Agent 13 (Emily VanCamp).
