Quite simply the best low budget werewolf movie.

This film has always held a special place in my heart. The camaraderie of the characters, the humour, the framing and shit choices. It should be awful when you think about it. Six professional soldiers facing off against a pack of werewolves in the Scottish Highlands. But it's not, it works. And under all the gore, all the silly gags, all the marvelous practical effects is a story about humanity and self acceptance. As bizarre as it sounds this is one of my comfort films. And this 4k restoration is glorious. The lithographic cards are a nice inclusion, and the book was a fascinating read as a fan. Definitely recommend.
