The Original Superspy

Created by author Ian Fleming in 1953, James Bond has become a name known by millions of people around the globe. The character originally made his debut in Fleming’s series of books before being adapted to film in 1962’s Dr. No. This film starred Sean Connery, who gave a tremendous performance as the legendary spy.

Since the first theatrical release, there have been more than two dozen films and numerous actors who have portrayed James Bond. Some of these include George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig.

Craig suited up in the famous tuxedo back in 2006, starring in Casion Royale. Following on from that film, he also played the character in Quantum Of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre, and No Time To Die.

007 is well known for being a smooth spy, looking slick in his suit, driving his heavily modified Aston Martins, and using a plethora of advanced gadgets. However, Bond is also recognised for taking on one-of-a-kind supervillains: Francesco Scaramanga (Christopher Lee) in The Man With The Golden Gun, Alec Trevelyan (Sean Bean) in Golden Eye, Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen) in Casino Royale, and more.
