JARHEAD STEELBOOK
I purchased this for a friend for Christmas as its one of their favorite films. It arrived Friday 19 December 2025 with a massive dint in the Steelbook. I attached photos to my messages which were difficult as the site would continuously not except the size, so I zipped them. It's now 24th December and still have had no reply or any correspondence. I am aware that things can be busy at Christmas but 5 days and nothing. I sent multiple messages in follow up. This is the 2nd time a Steelbook has been damaged (Fright Night also a present was dinted as well). The process for returning is quite involved for international customer's as you have to source the carrier and then obtain a quote ect.... who has time to do all this? Most places just send you a label you print or scan at post office. All done. They even have an Australian website we go through. Why can't this be used? Due to all the time it would take, I kept the damaged Fright Night, and they gave me 20% back which was around $12.00 Just does not seem fair or reasonable. It not my fault it arrived damaged. Especially as I had requested that Steelbooks be better packaged than in just cardboard covering. Now here we are again...but no contact and resolution and now I have had to find another gift as well. Great looking Steelbook and Jarhead is a good film. Shame about the massive dint in the Steelbook that looks like it's been to war as well.... $62.99 Australian and postage on top of that..... makes me angry. Would have taken probably taken 5 minutes to sort this out, that's it.
