The Ultimate 4K Restoration

If you thourght the first Theatrical 4K UHD Bluray looked good forget it...this new Directors Edition ups the anti even more with an even more stunning 4K remaster with this time both HDR 10 plus and Dolby Vision...the Directors edition includes all the cut scenes now edited back into the film with the HDR adding incredible colour and vibrance to the picture...but the real star here is the new ATMOS track...Jerry Goldsmiths score simply explodes around your room with the opening titles, the Enterprise flyby is simply mind blowing and the trip through Vger simply put shows why Jerry Goldsmith was the master, sound engineers have added so many added sound effects to this edition the ATMOS track is a wonder to behold. Maybe not the most favourite of the original 6 films this new Directors edition finally shows the film as director Robert Wise intended and it now stands as probably one of the greatest space operas of all time not to mention the premise is that of what Gene Roddenberry always intended ...To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before
