She wants to off her better half and collect on his policy, but spitfire claims-adjuster Barton Keyes (Edward G. Robinson) smells a rat - or at least the cheap perfume all over that Dietrichson file.

Great Noir
A must have for film noir fans. Double Indemnity is compelling viewing and a top class film. The acting is superb from most of the cast, Edward G. Robinson is at the top of his game. Billy Wilder's direction is magnificent as always.
