One of the greatest anime of all time on Blu-ray... enough said!
The satisfaction of owning probably the best anime I've ever watched on Blu-ray was worth the purchase of this box set alone, and sits proudly on my shelf. Not much needs be said on the series itself... it's Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. If you're looking to buy this set, you probably already know how good it is, or you're about to find out. I will say though, this is not a collection that comes with a lot of bells and whistles. It features creditless versions of the opening and closing tracks (pretty standard for anime) and a handful of English commentaries, but that's really it. I did appreciate that compared to the version available on Netflix, it had subtitles for the opening and ending song lyrics, though! Ultimately, it's Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on Blu-ray. It does what says it on the box, and it does that extremely well. It's not necessarily a collector's item, but any anime fan who buys Blu-rays won't ever be upset with having the best possible version of the Elric brothers' stories available to watch at any time.
