‘Til We Die

Created in 1995 in Des Moines, Iowa, Slipknot is one of the biggest heavy metal bands in history. The original group comprised Shawn Crahan, Joey Jordison, Paul Gray, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root. For more than a decade, these nine members rocked the world with their unique image and unforgettable live performances.

Over the course of their existence, the band has put on some incredible live shows. In these shows, they each wear unique face masks and matching boiler suits (which they adopted in 1997). Shawn Crahan, the oldest member of Slipknot, became known as ‘Shawn The Clown’ due to his synonymous mask.

Many of the band’s albums — such as Slipknot (1999), Iowa (2001), Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses (2004), All Hope Is Gone (2008), and The Gray Chapter (2014) — have become immensely successful. Likewise, they have released a whole host of smash-hit songs: ‘Psychosocial’, ‘The Devil In I’, ‘Duality’, ‘Before I Forget’, ‘Snuff’, ‘Wait And Bleed’, and more. With over 30 million records sold worldwide, the band have certainly made a big splash in the music world.
