This is one of Hitchcock's most interesting 'early' films, the viewer witnesses many of Hitchcock's later trademarks being staged here for the first time.
Sir John Menier (Herbert Marshall) plays a juror in a murder trail of a young women who is found next to the corpse and is suffering from amnesia due to shock. Sir John and the rest of the jury find her guilty and she given the death penalty. Sir John has second thoughts and starts to suspect her boyfriend and begins an investigation of his own. In a race against time, can he save the girl.
