There's no question in my mind, that whenever there is a Director's cut that comes from Scott, it's a much better version than what he's put out theatrically. All of his Director's Cuts are so improved with richer characterisations, sequences, that make the story vastly improved that in time, you wish to view again and again. View Gladiator 1 or even more so, his cut of Napoleon which runs for close onto 3 and half hours and I didn't move for one second or answer any calls! Just fascinated by that particular version! In Australia it's playing on Apple+ and if you have subscribed to it, use it and see! The only one I've not seen is his cut of American Gangster. I'll get around to it. Will be viewing his cut of Black Hawk Down which I can't wait to view. Kingdom of Heaven in 4k is magnificent! Those who don't have 4k at present, when you can afford it, you will not regret your decision!!
