Just a truly great film. Starts out with a basic premise-one mate not wanting to be the other`s friend anymore and turns into a comedy/tragedy that you don`t have to be Irish to get into.
Just a great film. Heaps of humour and stacks of tragedy. It just works. Maybe being set 100 years ago on a island off the West coast of Ireland makes it work. Even has a little of old Irish myths in the story. Great acting all round and just different. I wish there was more films like this around instead of those limitless superhero dud films. See this one.
