Firefighter Steve (McConaughey) and artists Carol (Beckinsale) are a happy couple in a stable, loving relationship. But there's just one small problem. When Carol discovers she's pregnant, Steve's less than thrilled at the news. Carol is confused - until she learns that Steve's whole family are dwarves. When it's time for her to meet the family, there's plenty of surprises in store, especially when she meets Steve's twin dwarf brother Rolfe (Oldman).
