The best R2 build to date. The design incorporates lots of fun and innovative techniques to cater to the experienced builder and new AFOL. He makes an awesome display piece with quirky hidden features that make this model a talking point that will equally please LEGO and Star Wars fans alike.

I’m a novice at Lego and took this to be my introduction to Lego, mainly as I love R2. It took me 3 nights to build and surprisingly, now I get why so many are into Lego. I was able to completely able to shut myself away from everything and enjoy the build. This won’t be my last piece of Lego 😂
