It was an excruciating wait for the Scream 4K UHD to arrive, and it was well worth the wait. My introduction to the film was on VHS 4:3, and then HD widescreen. I loved the film then, but the 4K blew me away. There were so many small details I was able to appreciate, and it actually felt suspenseful, despite me having watched the other versions so many times. The special features were pretty average for these days, but good for a film released in 1996 directed by someone who is no longer with us. I've just convinced myself to make time to watch it again this weekend.
