Kathryn Bigelow has always been great. From the hugely underrated "Strange Days" to my all time favourite vampire movie "Near Dark" to the incredible "Zero Dark Thirty" she never disappoints. Even lesser efforts like "Blue Steel" and "Detroit" are still great entertainments. With "The Hurt Locker" she delivers a tense, enthralling look at addition to war and it has never looked better than it does on the terrific 4K transfer wrapped up in a super cool Steelbook. This is a must buy for fans of either or both the genre or the director. Excellent stuff
