The Flight for Fallujah: "The Flight for Fallujah" tells the story of the 2004 insurgent attack on four private contractors in the Iraqi city of Fallujah and the two subsequent military operations to gain control of the city.
Wings Over the Gulf – First Strike: In Operation Desert Storm, the F-15 Eagle upheld its reputation as a "super fighter" and the Stealth F-117 Nighthawk put an end to worries that it was a high-priced failure. This is the story of how during Operation Desert Storm, forty-two F-117s flew sorties over the flak-filled skies of Baghdad and demolished the Iraqi command and control network without once being hit themselves.
Wings Over the Gulf – In Harm’s Way: During desert Storm, Pan Avia’s Tornado GR-1 flew daring, low-level bombing missions to destroy Iraqi’s heavily-defended airfields. This programme talks with General Charles Horner, who ran the allied air campaign, and with British Tornado pilots, who describe the dangers of bombing in sky full of flak.
Wings Over the Gulf – Final Assault: When ground troops moved into Iraq in February 1992, they received superb air support from two American workhorses: the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the A-10 Thunderbolt. Flying low above the desert and attacking with Gal-8 Avenger cannons, the 144 A-10s sent to the Gulf destroyed over a thousand enemy tanks.
Operation Desert Storm: Operation Desert Storm was the first day of the ground war. An eight-man US Army Special Forces "A-Team" (Green Berets) was inserted deep inside Iraq to provide ground reconnaissance of a key Iraqi highway. This is the story of their fight to survive!
Battle of Tal Afar: In May 2005, The US Army’s 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment was tasked with ridding Tal Afar of its insurgent overlords, and with it the perhaps more challenging mission to distinguish civilians from insurgents, and restore legitimate Iraqi authority to the city. The 3rd ACR campaign in Tal Afar lasted roughly from May-September of 2005. This is the story of that campaign.
