An Expansive Catalogue Of Games

Established in 1979, Capcom is one of the world’s leading video-game developers. Since the early days, the company has become famous for its many fan-favourite franchises, such as Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, Mega Man, Dead Rising, and Devil May Cry.

Their first development project began in 1983 and released in 1996. This was Resident Evil, a horror video game conceptualised by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara. The plotline, which now encompasses a whole series, focuses on a small cast of characters pushing back against the Umbrella Corporation following the creation of the T-Virus. The T-Virus transforms both humans and animals into zombies and other terrifying monstrosities, such as the infamous Mr. X.
