No Death Star Too Large

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is a 2016 American space-opera film directed by Gareth Edwards, with a screenplay written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy - produced by Lucasfilm.

Set a week before A New Hope, the plot follows a group of rebels who band together to steal holographic plans of the Death Star, the ultimate weapon of the Galactic Empire.

Jyn Erso (portrayed by Felicity Jones) originally proposed to steal the plans with a Rebel fleet, but the Rebel Alliance turn down the proposal, to their own detriment. This leads to a small squad of Rebel volunteers deciding to steal the databank of their own volition.

With inevitable sacrifice on the horizon, Jyn and Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) retrieve the data. But they are stopped in their tracks by Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), the main antagonist of the movie. This leads to one of the most impactful scenes of the movie, featuring none other than the Sith Lord Darth Vader.
