The women's Gel-Nimbus 16 Trainers from Asics feature a FluidFit™ upper which combines stretchy, breathable mesh with sturdy reinforcements to create a customised, glove-like fit. With an exoskeletal heel counter which supports the heel, the trainers have a Guidance Trusstic System and a Guidance Line to enhance gait efficiency and provide midfoot structural integrity.
Featuring rearfoot and forefoot gel cushioning systems to attenuate shock during the impact and toe-off phases, the shoes have FluidRide™ midsole technology which reduces weight whilst improving bounce back and cushioning. With an extra 3mm of height to help reduce achilles tension, the trainers are set upon a durable, abrasion-resistant AHAR rubber sole. - L.M.
