Welcome to the Festive Dimension

Rick and Morty, an animated show created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, has developed a reputation for its care-free approach to comedy. The jokes fire on all cylinders, appealing to a crowd of adult viewers — we hope — with a very specific sense of humour. This is reflected across all aspects of the series, with many of the characters having downright ludicrous backstories and names, two examples of which are Birdperson and Squanchy.

Over the course of several seasons, Rick Sanchez (voiced by Roiland) and his grandson, Morty Smith (Roiland), have embarked on many adventures, during which they have fought an alien race known as Zigerions, travelled to planets enslaved by a hivemind, and sang ‘Get Schwifty’ to a giant floating head — to describe but a few of their escapades.
